The pearls are no doubt a gem popular and recognizable, but what is the history of this gem? Beads were observed in the history books for thousands of years and have left their mark on the old Royal Society. There are many more beads, however, that what meets the eye. Almost everyone knows that pearls are created by oysters, but what people may not know how this gem is varied.

First, the pearl is the only gem created by a lifeBody. Any other stone known to man is created from earth and minerals. The pearl was created by a unique relationship between the parasite body. Beads are mentioned in history in the Bible and are the subject of many myths about every religion and culture. Not only were pearlsassociated with wealth, but also with love and marriage. There are many stories of pearl jewelry at the center of marriage, or be used to show affection for someone like Cleopatra Mark Antony. It is said that wine dissolved a pearl in a glass and drank it to him to show his love.

Scientists can now more about where pearls come, but this does not reduce to understand their usefulness. The pearls are still very popular and are still synonymous withwith love. Are still often the jewelry of choice for a bride on her wedding day, or as a wedding gift.
